Our shoes are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Turkey and Mexico, depending on the style. Both countries have rich shoemaking traditions that span hundreds of years, with craftsmanship passed down through generations. We’re proud to work with artisans in each region who bring their expertise, heritage, and attention to detail to every pair.
We carefully select our materials to reflect our commitment to quality, comfort, and sustainability:
● We use top-grain leather, sourced as a by-product of the food industry, meaning no animals are harmed specifically for our shoes. The leather is soft, breathable, and molds naturally to your feet over time.
● The soles are made from vegetable-tanned leather, using natural tannins instead of harsh chemicals like chrome. This process is not only safer but also helps reduce water waste and pollution.
● A pure copper rivet is placed at the KD1 acupuncture point on the sole. This allows for direct contact with the Earth when walking barefoot, helping to support grounding and promote natural energy flow from the ground to your body.
Every pair is a thoughtful blend of traditional craftsmanship, natural materials, and modern barefoot design- made to support both your foot health and your connection to the Earth.
